What's Included
Course Description
The Map is the starting point of the Metanoia career system. Before you can plan the right career, interview for the right role, or build the right professional profile, you need to understand who you are — what drives you, where your strengths lie, and what kind of professional you intend to become.
This course guides you through six structured learning modules covering self-awareness, the habits of effective people, structured problem-solving, communication for impact, well-being and digital capability, and virtual career preparation. By the time you complete The Map, you won't just have a clearer picture of yourself — you'll have a career direction grounded in genuine self-knowledge rather than guesswork.

Self-Awareness and Personal Audit
Begin your journey by turning the lens inward. This module develops the foundational self-knowledge that every successful career depends on — understanding your mindset, building adaptability and resilience, and setting a clear learning intention for everything that follows.
The Habits of Effective People
Explore the paradigms and principles that separate effective people from the merely busy. Grounded in timeless frameworks for personal effectiveness, this module builds habits of character rather than habits of technique — covering proactivity, beginning with the end in mind, and putting first things first.
Problem Solving 101 – Improve Our Life
Develop the systematic thinking that hiring managers consistently identify as the most valuable early-career quality. This module teaches you to reframe intelligence as the ability to achieve desired outcomes, apply structured problem-solving frameworks, and practice on realistic case studies.
Communication for Impact
Most professional underperformance is not a competence gap — it is a communication gap. This module addresses the most common professional communication failures, builds a foundation in core communication theory, and develops practical fluency through applied case studies.
Relationships, Well-Being, and Digital Capability
Sustainable professional performance rests on foundations most people underinvest in. This module builds physical and mental health as performance infrastructure, addresses how to stay relevant amid rapid technological change, and delivers a practical digital productivity toolkit you can deploy immediately.
Virtual Job Simulations and Career Preparation
Put everything you have learned into practice. This module prepares you for your career through virtual job simulations and career readiness programs. You will gain practical insights into the hiring process, develop core employability skills, and explore early-career opportunities across six major industries — Accounting, Banking & Financial Services, Consulting & Professional Services, Law, FMCG, and Technology.
This module prepares you for your career through virtual job simulations and career readiness programs. You will gain practical insights into the hiring process, develop core employability skills, and explore early-career opportunities across six industry tracks. Select an industry track below to complete your simulation. Each simulation takes approximately 15 minutes and includes a reflection exercise.
Personal Audit — Strengths, Patterns, and Goals Reflection
Assignment BriefReflect on your core strengths, your behavioral patterns under pressure, and your career goals for the next two years. This assignment forms the foundation of your Metanoia Career Profile — the personal map that everything else in your career system is built on top of.
My Habits — A 30-Day Personal Application Plan
Assignment BriefIdentify one core principle from each of the three habits covered in this module and create a concrete 30-day action plan for applying them in your academic or professional life. The plan should include specific, observable daily actions and a simple reflection format for tracking follow-through.
Problem Statement and Solution Brief
Assignment BriefSelect a real challenge you are currently facing — academic, personal, or professional — and apply the structured problem-solving framework from this module. Define the problem precisely using the provided template, generate at least three distinct solutions, evaluate each against your criteria, and select and clearly justify your recommended approach.
Professional Introduction — Video Assessment
Assignment BriefRecord a 3-minute video introducing yourself for a professional context — an internship interview, a company presentation, or a networking event. Your introduction should demonstrate the communication principles covered in this module: clarity, structure, energy, and professional presence. After recording, self-assess your performance using the communication rubric provided in the module before submitting.
My Digital Productivity System
Assignment BriefDesign and document a personal digital productivity system using at least three tools introduced in this module. Submit a one-page system overview that explains: what your system is designed to achieve, which tools you chose and why, how the tools work together within your workflow, and how you plan to maintain and review the system over the next 90 days.
Virtual Job Simulation — Reflection Report
Assignment BriefComplete one full virtual job simulation from your chosen industry track and write a structured reflection report. Your report should cover four sections: (1) what the simulation required and how it was structured; (2) how you performed against the stated evaluation criteria; (3) what you learned about the industry, the role, and your own professional readiness; and (4) what you would approach differently in a real application process.
